JU 'Uma unit' admission test today
The admission test under the Faculty of Business Studies (Uma unit) for honours programmes in Jahangirnagar University (JU) for the academic sessions 2011-12 starts today.
The test will be held from 9:30am to 5:25pm following a shift system, with a gap of 25 minutes between two consecutive shifts. The duration of each examination is 1 hr 5 minutes.
Some 25,079 candidates have applied for the 268 available seats at the faculty, indicating that some 94 aspirants will vie for each seat.
The tests under the faculties of social science and technology institute of information (Kha and Chha units) will be held tomorrow, the tests under Institute of Business Administration and Faculty of Law (Cha and Ja units) on October 12 and under Faculty of Arts and Humanities (Ga unit) on October 13.
