Road crashes kill 2
Two people were killed in separate road accidents in Gopalganj and Dinajpur yesterday.
Our Gopalganj correspondent reports: An unidentified man aged about 40 was killed when a pick-up van hit him while he was trying to get on board a running bus at Police Line intersection in the district yesterday.
Our Dinajpur correspondent adds: A youth succumbed to his injures at Dinajpur Medical College Hospital after he was critically injured when a shallow-run three-wheeler hit a rickshaw that carrying him on Monday night in Chirirbandar upazila.
The deceased is Abu Bakkar Shiddique, 18, son of Nurul Islam, of Nandail village of Chirirbandar upazila.
