Obituary
Arham Ahmed Siddiqi, a noted film producer and one of the organisers of the War of Liberation, passed away at a private hospital in the city on Monday night due to old age complications at the age of 81, says a press release.
He left behind his one son, one daughter and grandchildren.
His first namaz-e-janaza was held at Gulshan Jame Mosque after Zohr prayers.
He was buried at his ancestral home at Baliabadi Zamindar house at Kaliakoir in Gazipur after second namaz-e-janaza.
Bangladesh Film Producers and Distributors Association, Directors Association, Shilpi Samity, Editors Gild and Photographers Association condoled his death.
His qulkhwani will be held at House No-14, Road No-111 in Gulshan-2 on Friday.
