10 made addl secys
In its latest move, the government yesterday ordered appointment of 10 civil servants who were attached with the public administration ministry as officers on special duty (OSD).
Of them, Fazlul Haque has been placed under the president`s office for appointment as Personal Secretary to the President, AKM Nesar Uddin Bhuiyan made press secretary to the president, Shubhashis Bose appointed as director general of executive cell, Board of Governors` of Private EPZ under the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) and transferred to the PMO to join his new post, M A Hannan made member of Economic Zone Authority under the PMO and Murtoza Ahmed made director of the Department of Military Land and Cantonment.
Among others, Abu Md Mostafa Kamal placed under Cabinet Division for appointment as director general of ACC, Swapan Kumar Sarkar made director general (monitoring, inspection and assessment unit) of Local Government Division under the LGRD ministry, A K M Saiful Islam has been made project director (phase 2) of Birth Registration Project of Local Government Division, Md Ashraful Hossain made director general of women affairs department and Mohammad Abdun Noor made chairman of Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board.
