Pedestrian dies after hit by pick up van in city
A pedestrian died as a pick up van hit him while he was crossing the road near Kajla petrol pump in the city's Jatrabari yesterday.
The deceased was identified as Tajul Islam, 70, hailing from Laxmipur.
Tajul and his son Faruk Hossain were crossing the road around 6:30pm when the accident occurred. Tajul was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
