People to respect Rab for its job
Says commanding officer
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) personnel will work in such a way that people will respect the force, the newly appointed Commanding Officer (CO) of Rab-7 Lt Col Md Julfikar Ali Majumder said yesterday.
People should not fear Rab, he said, adding that only the miscreants will fear it.
He said this while he was exchanging views with the journalists at Rab-7 office in the port city on the occasion of his joining the post.
He said they are stressing for stopping drug business, extortion and arms dealing.
He said Rab members will active so that no top-terror will dare to come back and establish supremacy in future.
