The Daily Star polls

Is anyone in the upper echelons of government appreciating how its polls on public opinion reflecting people's pulse is being made available to them every day on the burning topics constantly agitating their minds? Admittedly, the DS polls do not cover too many people. But I am in no doubt that this small percentage represents the very cream of society -- the literate, thinkers, doers and the dedicated. The topics are all of current interest. Over the last few months, the poll results have been startling, giving a distinct barometer to the thought processes of the concerned minds. Results of almost all the polls are against present government policies by a landslide. If the government, still riding the quicksand of their huge electoral majority, ignores these indicators, then it is due for a shock. If there is difficulty in understanding these results, would it help if the polls' Yes and No is substituted by a symbol of Cow and Goat?
