Mason electrocuted in city
A construction worker was electrocuted and two others were injured while working at an under construction building in the capital's Hazaribagh area yesterday.
The deceased is Abdul Majid, 25, and the injured are Rashedul, 20 and Rafiqul Islam, 28.
Sub-inspector Mozaffar Hossain of Hazaribagh Police Station said the construction workers were working on the roof of the under construction building before Mukti cinema at Rayerbazar around 8:30am.
Majid came in contact with a live electric wire while he and the two others were trying to straighten a rod.
The three were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared Majid dead.
