Driver injured by stray bullet
A CNG-run auto-rickshaw driver was hit in the leg by a stray bullet fired by muggers in front of the sub-registrar's office in the city's Tejgaon Industrial area yesterday.
The injured Motaleb, 28, is being treated at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
He said four miscreants on two motorcycles were firing blank shots after snatching a bag from some men inside a microbus in front of the office.
Abdullah, one of the ten men and a businessman of Auspara in Tongi, said the muggers took a bag full of clothes instead of Tk 5.5 they were carrying in another bag.
