Road crashes kill 2
Two people were killed and another was injured in separate road accidents in Satkhira and Narail on Saturday and yesterday.
Our Satkhira correspondent reports: A motorbike rider was killed on the spot and another was injured when the motorbike and a nasimon collided head-on on the Assassuni-Agardari road at village Dadpur in Sadar upazila yesterday.
The deceased was Anwarul Islam, 35, son of Sultan Gazi, of village Mahajanpur in Assassuni upazila.
The injured Aminur Rahman, 35, of the same village, admitted to Satkhira Sadar Hospital in critical condition.
Our Narail correspondent says: A local businessman was killed when he lost control over his motorcycle and hit a roadside tree at Khilisakhali village of Korola union on Saturday night. Saiful Bari Sumon, 43, of Voakhali village in Narail was the general secretary of District Truck Owner Association.
