Eid congregations in city

The main Eid jamaat (congregation) of holy Eid-ul-Azha will be held at National Eidgah on the city's High Court premises at 8:30am tomorrow. In case of inclement weather, the Eid congregation will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 9:00am, says a press release of Dhaka City Corporation (DCC). Maulana Shamsul Haque, Khatib of Gulshan Azad Mosque, will lead the Eid prayers at National Eidgah, says UNB. Also, prayer arrangements for women will be available at one side of the Eidgah with a separate entrance. An Eid jamaat will also be held at South Plaza of Sangsad Bhaban at 8:00am, says BSS. DCC will arrange 361 Eid congregations in the city, four in each of the 90 DCC wards and one on the Dhaka University (DU) playground. All necessary arrangements including supply of water and setting up of mobile toilets at the Eidgahs has been made. At Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, five Eid congregations will be held from 7:00am to 10:45am. Eid congregations will be held at Gulshan Central Mosque and Eidgah Maidan at 8:30am, Aeroplane Jame Mosque at 7:30am, Bashiruddin Road Jame Mosque and Hafizia Madrasa at 8:00am, and Babe Rahmat of Dewanbag Sharif from 8:00am to 10:00am. Also, Eid congregations will be held at DU Central Mosque at 8:00am and 9:00am, and Salimullah Muslim Hall Mosque and Shahidullah Hall lawn at 8:00am. Eid congregations will also be held at Bishwa Zaker Manzil in Faridpur at 10:00am and Gendaria Dhoopkhola ground at 8:00am. Besides, Eid congregations will be held in different areas under local arrangements.
