Fire guts fishing boat
Valuables worth around Tk.4.50 lakh were gutted by fire at a fishing boat in Char Pathorghata area of the port city on Tuesday afternoon.
Fazlul Quader, Agrabad Fire Station telephone operator, said the fire originated from an electric short circuit at the boat around 4:30pm and soon engulfed the boat.
