Enamul Haque
Today is the 34th death anniversary of Enamul Haque, a noted social worker, teacher and engineer, a press release said. Haque is the first-ever Bangladeshi to donate his eyes after death. Three years before he died on 1977, he had donated his eyes in a written will. Editor of Weekly 2000 Shahadat Chowdhury and an individual by the name of Ramzan Ali received Enamul Haque's corneas after he had died.
