Goods worth Tk15 lakh reduced to ashes as a fire broke out at a market in Ghoraghat upazila of Dinajpur Thursday night, said fire brigade officials of Phulbari upazila. The fire originated from an electric short circuit at Wazed Market in the upazila's Raniganj area around 11:30pm, they said. Villagers said the fire engulfed the market and spread to the surrounding areas.
