Reduce population pressure on Dhaka

Dhaka city is suffering from loads of problems like traffic congestion, overpopulation, environment pollution, etc. Overpopulation is the worst among these problems and it has more harmful effects. In my opinion, by solving only this problem we can lessen all the other problems. About two crore people are living in this congested city. Overpopulation has made the city almost unlivable. Moreover, we are very prone to different kinds of diseases. Prolonged exposure to polluted air can cause diseases like chronic respiratory problem, lung cancer, skin cancer, etc. and exposure to noisy environment can cause hearing difficulty. If we have a positive mentality, we can solve all the problems. Most people come to Dhaka to earn a living, as there are fewer job opportunities outside Dhaka. In this situation, decentralisation is the best and only way to solve the problems. I would like to draw the attention of the authorities concerned to address this issue.
