BCL demands new committee at JU
Leaders and activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) of Jahangirnagar University (JU) unit yesterday demanded a new BCL committee in the university.
In a sit-in programme in front of Amar Ekushey sculpture on the campus, the leaders said the suspended committee of the unit tarnished BCL's image to the whole country by the July 5 incident last year.
They requested BCL central committee to give a new executive body to JU so that they can work unitedly against the opposition parties.
