Protesting the wrong

I am writing this letter to condemn the steps taken by Israel against the Palestinians. The people of Israel are continuously building illegal settlements in West Bank near Jordan. Israel's minister for domestic affairs said on15th November 2011 that the government of Israel gave permission to build 2548 flats in East Jerusalem. By doing so, Israel is violating international laws and making the peace talks between Israel and Palestine uncertain. Israel's army chief also gave an indication of attacking Gaza again. However, they cited a reason for the upcoming attacks and that is, to stop Palestinians from throwing rocks at the settlers. But Israel started bombarding Palestine first. Innocent Palestinians are being killed, mosques are being burnt, and the Holy Quran is being burnt by the Israeli forces. So, how long will the Palestinians endure such barbaric attacks? Why don't we protest when our brothers and sisters are tortured and murdered unlawfully? I urge all the Muslims of the world to be united against the oppression of the Palestinians by the Israelis. Things can be sorted out nicely. The media can play an effective role in solving this issue.
