Seven get DRU award

Dhaka Reporters' Unity (DRU) yesterday announced the names of the winners of its annual awards in seven categories for best reporting. Helal Uddin of Jugantar won the award for his report on crime while Ashraful Islam of Naya Diganta got it for best report on objective economics and Mizan Chowdhury of Janakantha for best economics report. Azizul Parvez of Kaler Kantha was awarded for the best report on the Liberation War while Mamun Hossain of Jaijaidin won the award for his report on education. Shamim Chowdhury of Inqilab bagged the award for his report on sports while Mashhudul Haque of ATN News got the best TV report award for city issues.
