3 held, 9 stolen bikes seized
Rajshahi Metropolitan Police arrested three people in the city yesterday and seized nine stolen motorbikes from their possessions in Kushtia, Pabna and Sirajganj.
The arrestees are Abul Kalam Azad, 36, of Ullahpara in Sirajganj, Mobarak Hossain, 38, and Raihanul Haque Mithu, 35, of Sahapur area of Iswardi in Pabna.
Based on information squeezed from them, the police conducted drives and seized eight bikes from two separate auto-rickshaw garages near Bheramara Railway Station in Kushtia and the rest one from Iswardi.
Boalia model police said at least 30 motorbikes were stolen from the city in last few months.
