RU deptt celebration ends
The two-day celebration marking the 12th anniversary of Department of Anthropology of Rajshahi University (RU) came to an end amid much fanfare and enthusiasm on the campus yesterday.
The second day of the programme started with a colourful procession on the campus with the participation of present and former students, teachers and guests.
The day's programme ended with a cultural session at Kazi Nazrul Islam auditorium.
Earlier on Friday, Education Secretary Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury inaugurated the department's celebration as the chief guest while RU Vice-Chancellor Prof Abdus Sobhan presided over the first day's programme.
