Obituary
Anwar Hossain Mia, former inspector of Water development Board, passed away yesterday due to old age complication at the age of 85.
He left behind three sons, three daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
His first namaz-e-janaza was held at Kawnia A Kader Chowdhury School in Barisal followed by another one at Aswani Kumar Hall.
He would be laid to rest at Barisal Muslim graveyard.
Barisal City Corporation mayor, local BNP lawmaker, socio-cultural-professional and journalist organisations condoled the death.
