Muggers stab Ctg businessman
Muggers stabbed a businessman in Kazir Dewri area under Kotwali Police Station in the port city yesterday morning.
Injured Pranabesh Dhar, owner of Apurba Jewellers at VIP Tower in Kazir Dewri area, was admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH).
Sources said four snatchers attacked Pranabesh in Kazir Dewri area around 11:45am.
They snatched his wallet stabbing him in his chest.
Hearing the victim's scream, locals rushed to the spot, caught two of the muggers and beat them.
The injured muggers, identified as Uzzal, 25, and Minhaz, 28, were undergoing treatment in CMCH under police custody.
