Road crashes kill 3

Three people were killed and another was injured in separate road accidents in Tangail and Dinajpur early Sunday and yesterday. Our Tangail correspondent reports: Two motorcyclists Mohammad Sujan, 32, of Shahajadpur upazila and Mohammad Arif, 26, of the same upazila in Sirajganj were killed on the spot and another was injured as an unidentified vehicle crashed their bike near pillar No. 40 of the Bangabandhu Bridge around 6:00am yesterday. The injured Billu Miah, 25, of the same area, was admitted to Tangail General Hospital. Tapash Chandra Pandit, officer-in-charge of Bangabandhu Bridge East Police Station, said they were going to Sirajganj from Tangail passing through the bridge. Our Dinajpur correspondent adds: A truck hit Nur Banu, 24, daughter of Babul Hossain, of Noymela village of Biral upazila, killing her on the spot at Alamdanga in the upazila on Sunday evening.
