Man shot dead in Keraniganj

An unidentified man was shot dead by some miscreants at Suvadda Paschim Para in South Keraniganj yesterday. The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately. Police quoting witnesses said a gang of criminals fired gunshots on the man, aged about 32, at about 9:00am near Suvadda Jhilmil Project, leaving him dead on the spot. Police sent the body to Mitford Hospital morgue for autopsy. Shakhawat Hossain, officer-in-charge of South Keraniganj Police Station, said the man might have been killed following previous enmity.
