Edn ministry gets 2 e-Asia awards
Ministry of Education has been conferred with two best awards in building capacity category in e-Asia conference and exhibition-2011 recently for its contribution to information technology sector.
Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), under the ministry, has been awarded in the best ICT initiatives for education administration and governance sub-category for introducing online admission system in diploma-engineering of the directorate, said an official handout.
On the other hand, one of the ministry's projects received another award in the sub-category of best innovation in educational content for building multimedia classrooms.
