Satkhira AL leader held
Joint Forces arrested an Awami League (AL) leader from his village home at Chapra in Assassuni upazila Thursday night, police and joint forces said.
The arrestee is Satkhira district AL industry and commerce affairs secretary ABM Mostakin. Joint forces raided his home and picked him up for his alleged involvement in criminal activities.
Mostakin allegedly occupied shrimp enclosures in the area, police and joint forces said. Later he was handed over to Assassuni police.
On Contact, Assassuni police station officer-in-charge (OC) confirmed the incident.
