Why is someone so indispensable in the cabinet?

On December 5, 2011, the government replaced Syed Abul Hossain with Obaidul Quader as the communications minister. Abul Hossain now heads the newly formed ministry of information and communication technology (MICT). We have heard that the higher revenue earning sector, the telecommunication department, is going to merge with the MICT. Question arises, as to why is this reshuffle needed. Syed Abul Hossain is neither trustworthy nor competent to meet the people's demand. So, there is a high chance that he will fail again. His past record is not good, either. When he was a state minister during the last term of the Awami League government, he went to Thailand with green passport instead of red passport and had to resign in the face of people's wrath. It's a complete mystery to us why the government chose him. Don't we have any competent person to replace him? We think this will not bring any good for the country. A truly democratic government can't take any decision that goes against the interest of the people and the country. In fact, the government has failed to read the pulse of the people. We urge the government to respect people's opinion and choose competent persons in the cabinet.
