Khurshid Khan, a maestro of Chhayanaut, died of old age complications at a city hospital on Friday at the age of 77, says a press release.
Khurshid Khan, who was awarded prestigious Swadhinata Padak, had taught at Chhayanat for over 30 years since the early 1960s.
At his demise, Chhayanat has expressed profound shock and condoled with the bereaved family members.
Khurshid Khan served in Bangladesh Betar and Bangladesh Television.
