'Train people to fight disaster'
Non-Institutional measures should be taken to train the people at grass root level to fight natural and man made disaster and attach them to disaster risk reduction procedures in the country, said Dhaka University Vice Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique yesterday.
He made the comment at a workshop tilted "Disaster Risk Reduction: Institutional and Non-institutional Measures in Bangladesh" at senate building.
