Woman dies as train hits her
An unidentified woman was killed as a train hit her in Chirirbandar upazila of the district yesterday, said police.
The incident took place at Panighata village, about 2 km away from the upazila railway station, at around 9:00am while Kanchan Express hit her on the rail track.
The body was sent to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
Police could not ascertain whether the woman committed suicide or not.
