Accused beaten up by rivals
A prime accused in the murder of local Swechchhasebok League leader was injured when his rivals attacked him following a previous dispute over sand trading in the city's Badda area on Wednesday night.
Injured Alamgir Hossain, 32, was admitted to the city's Apollo Hospitals.
An armed gang, led by Killer Titu of Khulna, Joynal of Merul Badda and Jamai Based of Badda, entered the house of Alamgir and beat him up, said Badda police.
