Trial of killers demanded
A daughter at a press conference yesterday demanded trial of the killers of her father and elder brother last year in separate incidents over a land dispute at Akhaura in Brammanbaria.
Rekha Aktar, accompanied by one of her cousins at the auditorium of Crime Reporters' Association of Bangladesh, also sought the help of the local administration as a quarter has been threatening to kill them demanding withdrawal of cases.
Her cousin Jahangir Alam alleged local criminals of Durgapur village hacked Khan Jahan Ali to death on June 14 and his father Moula Ali on November 10 to grab a piece of land.
