Woman commits suicide
A housewife allegedly killed herself by hanging from ceiling in her room at village Nagor in Baraigram upazila in Natore on early Friday.
The deceased was Manju Rani Das, 25, wife of Gonesh Chandra Das of the village.
Anowar Hossain, officer-in-charge of Baraigram police station said quoting locals as saying that Manju hanged her at around 1:00am.
Manju might kill her following an altercation with her husband over a trifling matter on Thursday night.
The police recovered the body and handed over it to the family members without autopsy as nobody clamed it as murder, the OC added.
An unnatural death case was filed with Baraigram police station.
