SSC Question Papers Distribution
Probe found no irregularity
A probe committee of Dinajpur Education Board did not find any irregularity in the distribution of question papers among the SSC examinees at Rangpur Zila School centre on Wednesday.
"The news of handing out wrong question papers to 17 examinees was not true," KM Rafique, controller of examinations of the education board and head of the three-member probe body, told newsmen yesterday.
The committee was formed on Thursday to probe the alleged distribution of wrong question papers among some students in the Bengali 1st paper examinations.
Rafique, however, mentioned that the 17 students of Rangpur Police Lines School and College were given question papers prepared following the syllabus of 2010-2011 sessions.
The students became unsuccessful in the last year's Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations. Their school authorities had mistakenly asked them to follow the syllabus of 2009-2010 sessions to take this year's examinations.
Receiving the question papers at the examination hall, they took it as wrong question papers, the controller pointed out.
