Worker electrocuted in city
A female worker was electrocuted at a dying factory in the city's Shyampur early yesterday.
The deceased Barna Akhtar, 18, daughter of Babul Sardar in Fatullah upazial of Narayanganj, worked at dying section of ABC Dying Factory in Shyampur under Kadamtali Police Station.
Kadamtali police said the victim got electrocuted at 12:15am as she came in contact with a torn electric wire while handling the machine to dry a printed T-shirt in the factory.
She was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared her dead.
An unnatural death case was filed.
