With a view to developing the habit of reading, Ekushey Boi Mela, 2012 kicked off on 1st February, with the title "60 years of Language Movement," on the Bangla Academy premises. Obviously, this is an outstanding step to make an enlightened society where the book lovers and students can get knowledge as well as pleasure. It is also a common place for gathering and meeting friends and eminent writers. In this electronic age, this book fair encourages people to read. This is also a time to present books to our near and dear ones. We thank all the organisations and the authorities concerned for arranging this fair. Let Ekushey Boi Mela be a successful event.
