Govt's lack of will to perform

It is very easy to point fingers and start blaming the present government for their failures. But it is still very clear in my memory how the previous government failed and were voted out of power by the people. I would like to highlight some of the failures of the government: 1) There was absolutely no need to change the name of the airport. This was done at a very high cost, for which the taxpayers jad to pay dearly. In my opinion, this was a total waste of our money. 2) The streets are still dirty and waste is being very poorly managed. I remember during the 2011 World Cup, the streets of Dhaka were clean and the city really looked presentable. This was, however, short-lived, as the World Cup ended and the streets became filthy again. This shows that the government is capable and can get it done if it wants to but just doesn't care. 3) A promise was made that poverty would be eliminated. But the number of beggars is rising. During the 2011 World Cup, all beggars were removed from the streets, as they were promised that they would be taken care of. However, after the World Cup ended, the beggars were back on the streets. This also proves that if the government really wants to get something done it can do it. I urge the government to pull its socks up and take a hard look at this. These problems are solvable. Dhaka is one of the dirtiest and most un-liveable cities in the world. This is entirely due to the negligence of the present and also past governments.
