Grocer killed in Narayanganj
A grocer was hacked to death at Keodhala village in the district's Bandar upazila Saturday night.
The deceased was identified as Nur Mohammad, 65, son of late Ayat Ali of the village.
Police arrested the deceased's sister Amena Begum, 45, her husband Babul Mia, 60, and another person named Moslem in this connection.
Akter Hossain, officer-in-charge (OC) of Bandar Police Station, said miscreants hacked Nur when he was returning home from his grocery shop in the area around 10:00pm on Saturday.
Discovering a longstanding dispute in the family centring paternal property, police suspect Amena's involvement in the killing with the help of Moslem.
Police arrested the trio following a case filed by the deceased's wife Morsheda Begum, said the OC.
