BNP withdraws expulsion order on Ratan
The BNP has withdrawn
the expulsion order on Kamruzzaman Ratan, a former leader of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD).
According to a press release signed by party's joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, the decision was taken following a direction given by the party chairperson Khaleda Zia.
BNP had expelled Ratan in 2003 following an allegation of breaching the party disciplines.
