Two snatchers arrested
Police arrested two snatchers in oxygen area under Bayezid Police Station in the port city yesterday.
The arrested persons are Md Bulbul, 25, son of Md Nurul Islam of Syed Nagar and Md Khorshed Alam, 35, son of late Raja Miah of Hamzarbag Colony under the police station.
They were arrested while snatching a mobile phone set in the area from a rickshaw-puller Kabir Hossain, said police.
Police seized one dagger from the snatchers.
Two cases were filed with the police station in this regard.
