760 Yaba tablets recovered
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) personnel nabbed two persons and seized 760 pieces of yaba tablets from their possession in front of GM Guest House area in Cox's Bazar town on Saturday.
The detainees are Golam Haider, 45, and Md Selim, 26, both hailed from the district.
Acting on a tip-off, a Rab-7 team from Cox's Bazar Camp made a drive in the area around 8:40pm and arrested the two along with the yaba tablets worth around Tk 3.04 lakh, says a press release.
The duo was handed over to Cox's Bazar Sadar Police Station.
