Locals beat up 3 RU students
Three Rajshahi University (RU) students were admitted to Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital after some local youths beat them up on the campus on Saturday night over an altercation.
Police arrested one attacker, Apple Ahmed, yesterday from the city's Dorgapara area and sent him to jail after producing him before a Rajshahi court.
The injured, Nazrul Islam, Rakibul Islam and Kaioum Bappi, of the economics department, said the altercation ensued between Apple and Nazrul over a trifle matter at a campus tea stall.
