Stolen timber seized in Ctg
Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) seized stolen timber worth Tk 2 lakh from Raozan of the district.
A team of Rab-7 along with Mamunur Rashid, assistant forest conservation officer of the district north zone, conducted a drive at Kalachand Chowdhury Moholla in Gohira of the area and seized 300 square feet of different kinds of stolen timber worth Tk 2 lakh from different saw mills, said a press release.
The timber was handed over to the forest department north, the press release added.
