Hachen Uddin Fakir
Today is the twenty third death anniversary of Hachen Uddin Fakir, former chairman and father of prominent singer Fakir Alamgir. A milad mahfil and doa mahfil will be held at Khilgaon Chowdhury Para Jame Mosque after Asr prayer to mark the day, said a press release. Another milad mahfil and reciting from the Holy Quran will also be held at Kalamridha village in Faridpur. Relatives and well-wishers are requested to attend the doa mahfils.
