Harun, Hasim new BNAA president, secy
Mohammad Harun-or-Rashid and Mohammad Hasim have been elected president and general secretary of Bangladesh Newspaper Agent Association (BNAA). Mohammad Ali has been elected organising secretary in the 31-member committee of the association through an election held at its office in the capital recently. The other elected members include Sirajul Islam, Master Mojibur Rahman, Hekmat Ullah, Nurunnabi Patwari, Kamal Uddin, Mizanur Rahman and Al-Harun, vice-presidents. Abu Bakkar Siddique and Imran Khan, joint-general secretary, Abdur Rafique Swapan, assistant organising secretary, Mazharul Haque, finance secretary, Shariat Ullah, publicity secretary, Nur Karim, assistant publicity secretary, Abu Bakkar Siddique (Baker), office secretary, Lutfur Rahman Chanchal, agent welfare affairs secretary, Obaidul Haque Samrat, education and literature secretary, Mazharul Islam Panna, sports secretary and Obaidul Islam Mithu, publication secretary. The executive members are Sikandar Ali, Abdul Mannan, Alam Sikdar, Ismail Hossain, Anwar Hossain Sikdar, Khorshed Anwar, Delwar Hossain, Azizul Haque, Abdul Jabbar and Ashequl Islam.
