Reshuffle in judiciary
The government as per consultation with the Bangladesh Supreme Court yesterday transferred district judges and additional district judges to different places.
At the district judge and equivalent level, member of Dhaka Customs, Excise and VAT Tribunal, Shirin Kabita Akhter, has been transferred to Noakhali as special judge while the judge of Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal of Jessore, ASM Jahurul Islam, to Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal of Rangpur, an official release said.
Attached official of Law and Justice Department, M Nurul Islam, has been made as Dhaka Divisional Special Judge; Kishoreganj Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal, M Rabiul Hasan, as special judge of Rangpur; Brahmanbaria District and Session Judge, AKM Nasiur Uddin Mahmud, as attached at Law and Justice Department.
Dhaka Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal-5 Judge, M Abdus Sobhan, has been made as Netrakona district and session judge; Barisal Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal Judge, M Humayun Kabir, as Kishoreganj Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal; Jano Nirapatta Bighnokari Aporadh Daman Tribunal judge of Khulna, Biplob Goswami, as Pirojpur District and Session judge and Pirojpur District and Session judge, as Meherpur District and Session judge.
