2 train 'roof riders' die after hitting bridge girder

Two men travelling on top of Dinajpur-bound intercity train “Nil Sagar Express” were killed after hitting overhead girders of Koidanga Rail Bridge and falling into Gumani river in the district's Vangura upazila on Tuesday. Government Railway Police (GRP) recovered the bodies of Abdur Razzak, 38, of Boyalianagar village in Joypurhat and Shamol Kumar, 35, of Dinajpur district and sent those to Sirajganj Hospital morgue yesterday for autopsy. Meanwhile, the body of a man, aged around 35 years, was recovered from Shahid M Monsur Ali Station area of Sirajganj district on Tuesday night, said Sub-Inspector Md Mojibar Rahman of Sirajganj GRP. The victim might have fallen off the roof of a running train, he said.
