Youth dies in road crash
A youth was killed when a speeding truck hit him at Mirpur Mazar road in the capital early hours of yesterday.
The deceased was Abdul Kader, 21, son of Zahirul Islam of Baishtaki in Kafrul of the capital.
Mohammad Milon, an eye witness and friend of Kader, said the truck ran over Kader on Mirpur Mazar road while they were returning home from a music programme at Mirpur Shah Ali Mazar.
Kader was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in critical condition where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
