Yaba tablets seized, two held in Ctg
Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested two drug peddlers and seized yaba tablets and a CNG-run three-wheeler from their possession in the port city on Sunday night.
The arrestees were Md Delwar Hossain, 38, of Jhalkathi, and Md Jamal Hossain, 27, of Noahkhali.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Rab-7 conducted a drive in front of Mohsen Awlia Furnishers at 2 No Mailer Matha area under Bandar Police Station and arrested the two with 45 pieces of yaba tablets worth around Tk 18 thousand, a CNG-run auto-rickshaw and Tk 20 thousand in their possession, said a press release of Rab-7.
Both the arrestees were handed over to Bandar Police Station.
