Cuet students celebrate Rag Day

A three-day long Rag Day celebration programme of the students of 38th batch of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (Cuet) began yesterday. On the occasion, the university students brought out a colourful procession from the premises of Institute of Engineers (IEB) in the port city with the enthusiastic participation of the outgoing students. A 'king' and a 'queen' were the main attraction of the procession who paraded riding on a horse carriage. It ended at GEC circle. The students also enjoyed a coloured water splashing and cultural programme on the campus. Meanwhile, a cultural programme will be held today on the campus where Jayodhoni, a cultural organisation of Cuet students will perform. A concert will also be held tomorrow on the campus where renowned band group Shironamhin, Souls and Arthahin will perform along with some local ones.
